Madeline was originally made from a hard heavy plastic, and is hollow on the inside. Madeline has since had a makeover and now dons lovely ephemera from the early 1800's - early 1900's.
She is just slightly over two feet tall and 16 1/2" across her back from shoulder to shoulder.

Madeline took me quite a few late nights to get her just so, but I think she's happy with her transformation.
